Esse conceito \u00e9 muito comum no <strong>frete a\u00e9reo e no transporte mar\u00edtimo LCL (carga consolidada)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ele existe para evitar que cargas muito <strong>leves, por\u00e9m grandes<\/strong>, ocupem espa\u00e7o valioso em aeronaves ou cont\u00eaineres pagando um valor muito baixo. Assim, quando o peso volum\u00e9trico \u00e9 <strong>maior do que o peso f\u00edsico da carga<\/strong>, ele ser\u00e1 usado como base de cobran\u00e7a.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Diferen\u00e7a entre peso real e peso volum\u00e9trico<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Peso real (bruto)<\/strong>: o peso f\u00edsico da carga, medido em quilos (kg) com base em balan\u00e7a.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Peso volum\u00e9trico<\/strong>: calculado a partir do <strong>volume que a carga ocupa<\/strong> (altura \u00d7 largura \u00d7 comprimento), utilizando um fator de convers\u00e3o definido pela transportadora.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A cobran\u00e7a do frete ser\u00e1 feita com base <strong>no maior entre os dois<\/strong>.
